MIAMI, 13 OCTOBER 2015; SPINELLO PROJECTS IS PLEASED TO PRESENT ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION ENTITLED FULL MOON, INAUGURATING THE GALLERY’S NEW, 5000 SQFT SPACE IN THE HEART OF MIAMI’S LITTLE RIVER

“Full Moon” reflects a specific time on the lunar calendar characterized by mystery, magic, and mayhem. The Full Moon is understood, both within vernacular and occult cultures, to be a time of transition, of letting go, and of reaching full potential. A symbolic, purifying gesture is undertaken during this phase of the Lunar Cycle, whereupon old identities, attitudes, and behaviors are shed in favor of more vibrant, more vital possibilities.

All ten Spinello Projects represented artists will participate: Farley Aguilar, Kris Knight, Aramis Gutierrez, Sinisa Kukec, Manny Prieres, Santiago Rubino, Naama Tsabar, TYPOE, Agustina Woodgate, and Antonia Wright. Special live performances by past collaborators will include Psychic Youth, Inc. and Franky Cruz.

From the gallery’s debut in what was Anthony Spinello’s modest Wynwood apartment in 2005 to the 5,000 sqft anchor gallery in Miami’s Little River, Spinello Projects invites you to come celebrate a new decade. This substantial expansion is undoubtedly a milestone for Spinello Projects and the Miami art community and will allow the program to grow, mature, and continue its mission: initiating fundamental change in Miami’s visual landscape and presenting new challenges to a broader global viewership.
